Cells
Cells are the basic building units of life. New cells are created by old cells. All living things are made of cells. The cell was discovered by Robert Hook. Types of cells are Prokaryotes and Eukaryotes. Prokaryotes lack a nucleus and other membrane-bound orgenelles. Bacteria and Archaea bacteria are two domains of prokaryotes. Eukaryotes have a nuclear membrane and membrane-bound organelles.
Animal Cell
The Animal cell is a Eukaryote. The Animal cell has no Cell Wall or Cell membrane. The Animal cell has orgenelles that are labeled in the picture to the left.
Plant Cell
The Plant cell is also a Eukaryote. The Plant cell has a cell wall and a cell membrane. The Plant cell has orgenelles that are labeled in the picture to the left.
